Matthew Kajcienski (Chief Creative Officer/Lead Composer)
Having recently composed the new themes for ABC’s Good Morning America (TV), 20/20 (TV), the current Siemens broadcast campaign, and the score to Room Service (film) starring comedian Howie MAndel, Matthew Kajcienski stays active composing for the concert stage, film, and television. Matthew holds degrees from The Juilliard School where he studied composition with Pulitzer/Oscar winner John Corigliano and Samuel Adler, as well as violin studies with Stephen Clapp. Award highlights include an American Academy of Arts and Letters “Charles Ives” Scholarship Award, an ASCAP/Morton Gould Award, 1st place - TCM Young Film Composers’ Competition, an NFAA Award (National Foundation for the Advancement of Arts), and a “Henry Mancini” Fellowship to name a few. He has been featured on TCM’s “Settling the Score”, CBS “Sunday Morning”, Talk Radio’s “Picture’s Up!”, and in various print publications. Matthew has had concert works performed by notable soloists, chamber ensembles, and orchestras in the US and abroad including The Juilliard Orchestra, An die Musik, and Ensemble du Monde, as well as premieres in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Matthew has also composed theme music for ABC’s coverage of the 2012 Olympic Games (Theme Package), the award-winning Shredded Wheat: “Progress” campaign (Bronze Lion Winner), Dance School: Juilliard (Theme, TV Mini-series), as well as advertising campaigns for Kodak, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Siemens, Merck, IBM, Cisco, Mylan, CBS Sports, Bengay, and others. In his spare time, he can be found in his garage tinkering with his favorite car, a low mile 1983 DeLorean DMC-12.
Aron Schoenfeld (Business Development, Co-Founder)
Aron Schoenfeld, a graduate of Queens College and the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, handles day-to-day operations at DreamArtists as well as heading up business development. After a very short stint as a young clarinetist, preferring Pearl Jam over Prokofiev, Aron decided to concentrate his talents elsewhere and began to pursue a career in business. Before co-founding DreamArtist Studios, Aron worked as an accountant for several major accounting firms including Ernst and Young. Aron has worn multiple hats since then as both a music producer and film producer, always having a keen sense for the unique/avant garde
John Kaefer (Composer)
A graduate of The Juilliard School, John Kaefer’s career has been highlighted by numerous awards and a growing list of important credits and commissions including music for 20/20, Good Morning America, and the 2012 ABC News Branding. Active in both NYC and LA, his music cues have been widely featured in shows on NBC, ABC, CBS, USA, TNT, TBS, MTV, E! Entertainment, The Discovery Channel, Bravo, and The Documentary Channel, among others. He has written music for numerous national advertisement campaigns, including spots for LG, Hewlett-Packard, Pfizer, and Marriott. Film credits include the score for the feature documentary A Polite Bribe (Orlando/Nexus), the score for Dance School: Juilliard (co-composer), and additional music for the Warner Brothers Picture feature Mama’s Boy. Additionally John worked with legendary TV composer Mike Post and served as a judge/advisor for the BMI Foundation Pete Carpenter Fellowship (2007-2010). John’s award-winning orchestral and chamber music has ben programmed throughout the United States, including performances with The Pacific Symphony, Eighth Blackbird, the Chabmer Symphony of New Jersey, Symphony in C, and the New York Youth Symphony in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. John has received awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the ASCAP Foundation, BMI, the American Music Center, and the Barlow Endowment, among numerous others. John runs Marathons (PR 3:38) and rides skateboards. He is married with a 9 year old son.
